Process

To get started, just follow these simple steps:
Apply online at www.cuw.edu/apply
Submit the following documents:
*Please note that all documents become property of the university

If you're an

Undergraduate

  • Original transcripts* and diplomas from all schools attended or currently attending, in English as well as your native language (if applicable). If your transcripts or diplomas are copies, we’ll need them certified by the school. *Transcripts must be mailed to the university.
  • IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo score if available.
  • Copy of your passport and visa, if applicable.

If you're a

Graduate

  • Original transcripts* and diplomas from all schools attended or currently attending, in English as well as your native language (if applicable). If your transcripts or diplomas are copies, we’ll need them certified by the school. *Transcripts must be mailed to the university.
  • IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo score if available.
  • Copy of your passport and visa, if applicable.
  • Resume
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation from previous teachers and/or employers.
  • Statement of purpose that specifically explains the program to which you’re applying to and why you want to attend CUW (Click here for instructions).

English

Proficiency Scores

  • Students do not need to submit an English proficiency score to be admitted
  • If a student from a non-test exempt country applies without an English score, they will be offered conditional admission
  • We do not have minimum sub-score requirements
  • English results can always be scanned & e-mailed

Once you're

Admitted

  • Proof of funding for at least one year of study in the form of a bank statement, loan, etc. If a relative or parent is sponsoring you, please submit a letter of support to accompany your proof of funding or fill out the affidavit of support. Proof of funding must be mailed to the university at Concordia University, International Center, 12800 N Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, WI 53097, USA.
  • Upon acceptance to the University, a $300 nonrefundable tuition deposit is required. This is not an additional fee, but a payment that secures your spot at the University and is put towards your tuition upon arrival. This deposit is not refundable and expires after 1 calendar year. Requirements

If you're an

Undergraduate

  • GPA equivalency of 2.0 on 4.0 scale.
  • Proof of English language proficiency with minimum scores of 61 TOEFL, 6 IELTS, 55 PTE, or 90 Duolingo (students without these scores can still apply for conditional admission)

If you're a

Graduate

  • GPA equivalency of 3.0 on 4.0 scale.
  • Proof of English language proficiency with minimum scores of 79 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS or 61 PTE or 100 Duolingo (students without these scores can still apply for conditional admission)
  • GRE or GMAT is not required

  • Don’t meet these requirements? Don’t worry — you’ll still be considered for admission.
  • Graduate entrance exams like GRE or GMAT are not required.
